Challenge #1
NeoBank should provide the best UX design that can satisfy users with different demographics and lifestyles.
Challenge #2
NeoBank was seeking a new vision of banking services. It should not be too formal but not too fancy either.
Challenge #3
The Client had a limited timeframe and scheduled investors pitch also, so deadlines were really important.

About the Client

The founders of Coinly are true crypto enthusiasts. A few years ago, they became interested in crypto-investment and quickly realized the potential of this field. But the more they learned about cryptocurrencies, the less they liked popular solutions on the market. That's how the idea of creating their crypto wallet appeared. This was the Client's first experience building a startup, so they were looking for a top-notch team to help with design and development.

We really appreciated the opportunity to work with one of such innovative fintech startups. They were open to new ideas and paid a lot of attention to the UX design stage for mobile devices.

Design process
The product had to be created from scratch. The founders came to ANODA only with an idea. We clearly structured all processes and discussed the scope of tasks.
3
Modern Interface
We were challenged to provide a simple and user-friendly interface making people's life easier. This financial app should not look too formal like most competitors' designs.

Filling out a brief

Firstly we asked the Client to fill out a brief. They provided a lot of information about their own experience in crypto investing and shared examples of products with good design.

Project Scoping

The next stage was the project scoping meeting, where we discussed the general stages of development and the time that will be necessary for our team to develop the product.

Product Design

Our UI/UX design team immediately scheduled customer interviews and competitor research to find customers' insights. This information is necessary to choose the best design solutions in the future and to create a product that meets the needs of users and achieves business goals.

Back-end & Front-end Development

The platform had to work with crypto technologies, so our team chose the best technical solutions to implement all the necessary features.

Native Mobile Development

We also discussed all the nuances that could appear during the development of the application.

Scope of Work

The founders of NeoBank spent more than a year looking for an agency that would help them with design and development. They understood that they were too busy with other projects and would not be able to devote much time to NeoBank. They needed a team that would also be inspired by their idea and work on it independently enough.

Brief filling

First of all, we asked NeoBank to fill out a brief. In it, the founders write in detail about their vision of the future product, its main competitors, its mission and values, and also provided examples of services that inspired them.

Project Scoping

We also realized that there is a very large scope of work ahead. We had to develop the product from scratch. Therefore, we started with clear planning, structuring of tasks, and estimation by time.

Product Design

The main advantage of NeoBank is the emphasis on outstanding user experience. In order to achieve the best deliverables, we had to find out all the needs of the target audience to provide the best product solutions.

Back-end & Front-end Development

The platform had to quickly process a large amount of data, deliver a variety of financial features and allow users to easily access any necessary information.

Native Mobile Development

Since NeoBank wanted to offer its users the most convenient fintech solutions, its founders immediately decided to start with an application.

We are very grateful to the ANODA team not only for their help in creating Coinly but also for their advice on product development. For the first time in our lives, we decided to create a startup and there were many difficulties ahead. But together with ANODA, we easily went from an ambitious idea to a product that is already loaded on my smartphone. This is an incredible experience!

Ideation & Evaluation

The main goal of the project is to solve most of the problems that exist in those solutions that are already on the market. Therefore, the founders wanted to focus on providing the best user experience. We conducted a team brainstorming meeting to analyze the Client's ideas and find the best options for their implementation.

We started with a big meeting where our team was able to learn more about the project and ask all their questions.

7

Final version

The founders of Coinly were excited about all three style options, so the choice was quite difficult. They settled on one style option but asked to implement several changes. Therefore, for the final version, we have improved one of the previously proposed style options.

Project planning & Zero sprint

At this stage, the development team discusses all the technical nuances that may arise during development and chooses the best solutions for creating the outstanding app.

Web & Mobile Development

Our team recommended using React.js on the front end, Node.js on the backend, and Swift to build the app. The development was based on 2-week sprints to ensure the right level of flexibility, maximum value, and a constant feedback loop.

Final QA / Testing

Our QA specialists ensure that we provide high-quality products. In addition to testing during iterations, we also make final testing. Now we are sure that the app works flawlessly.

Feature #1
Home page
During the customer interviews, we tried to find out what information has primary importance for users. What do they want to see the moment they open the app? After analyzing their feedback and the experience of the founders, we chose those features that we designed on the main page of the app.
We were inspired by the Home page of the usual online banking app. Therefore, the current balance was added to the page. But we also added cryptocurrency growth trends to help crypto investors make decisions.
Let's talk
Feature #2
Easy crypto exchange
Crypto investors want to be able to react as quickly as possible to changes in the market. Therefore, in addition to the ability to track the trends of growth and decline in the value of cryptocurrency, we have also developed exchange features.
We followed the principle of "less is more" in the interface and kept the minimum number of elements. Nothing should distract users from cryptocurrency transactions.
Feature #3
Wallet
On the Wallet page we have designed the current balance, the balance for each coin, and the transaction history.
A large number of crypto investors are looking for ways to achieve financial independence. So they calculate their costs and profits and spend a lot of time analyzing this information. For them, we added a small feature that shows the dynamics of their account month by month.
Feature #4
Market & News
The world of crypto-investment is constantly changing. Therefore, users need to regularly follow news and trends to be the first to learn about new technologies and solutions on the market.
We have added a News page to the platform where users can read the most relevant information. This will help in the search for new ideas!
